Industrial Machinery
Industrial Machinery & Packaging Division supplies aseptic and non-aseptic filling systems for Bag-In-Box, Bag-In-Drum and Bag-In-Container packaging systems used mainly in the food and beverage industries. We also sell kegs, keg cleaning and filling systems, and other containers to the beer and soft drink industries, and we are actively promoting 1000-Litre collapsible plastic containers as a new and cost-efficient logistics solution for liquids and bulk goods.
The “INTASEPT” Bag-In-Box aseptic filling system has a number of unique features and is the top-selling aseptic filling system in Japan. The technology is capable of packaging, filling, storing and transporting liquid products under highly aseptic conditions at normal ambient temperatures.
The innovative “Draft Beer Keg System” was introduced to Japan approximately 40 years ago and completely revolutionized the production and distribution of draft beer. Since the start of this business, we have delivered more than eight million stainless steel beer kegs and installed several hundred lane-type and rotary-type keg cleaning and filling machines at many breweries across the country.
In addition, Industrial Machinery & Packaging Division imports and sells inspection systems and gauges. The Genius visual inspection system is a camera-based system that utilizes sophisticated algorithms and is used to check the interior and exterior surfaces of cans, can ends, plastic and paper cups on high-speed production lines. Similarly, Infrared On-Line Gauges are also used on production lines and are designed to measure moisture, fat or protein content, and coating and film thickness.
Electronic Devices
Japan is a world leader in electronics but there are still plenty of opportunities for overseas companies to supply devices and components, especially niche products for specialized applications with demanding specifications. Electronic Devices Division has long and extensive experience in this field and works closely with both our overseas partners and Japanese customers from design and development through to delivery of the end product and beyond in order to ensure that all requirements are properly satisfied and that the business is a success.
Among the product lines that we promote and sell are semiconductors for radio communications, wireless devices for use in industry, semiconductors for audio/video applications (including digital broadcasting), various kinds of discrete components, electron tubes for marine radars, high frequency modules and for research institutions, optical communication devices, specialized CCD sensors for use in space, science and industry, industrial optical components and optical design software.
Recent additions to the portfolio include MEMS products and ICs for energy efficient power conversion.
Systems and Equipment
Systems & Equipment Division is active in three distinct markets: communications equipment, aviation and avionics, and security & safety products. We work with overseas suppliers that offer leading-edge technology and high levels of product support.
Communications equipment has enjoyed considerable success in recent years on the back of the phenomenal growth in mobile phones and wireless networks. We sell a range of test and measurement tools (protocol analyzers, noise and signal generators, etc.) to the mobile communications industry for evaluation of products that work with WiMAX, W-LAN, Bluetooth, ZigBee and other wireless technologies, and we continue to support safe, secure, and reliable high-performance telecommunications environments with superior quality of service.
In aviation and avionics, we promote and sell equipment both for installation on aircraft and for use in ground support operations. Examples are aircraft handlers, cargo loading systems and light-weight containers, state-of-the-art flight data/mission recorders and other ruggedized avionics, ejection seats, high-speed transmission and receiving systems for communications satellites, and tracking antenna for flight test telemetry.
In our security & safety business, we are involved with products and special equipment for counter-terrorism, contraband detection, search and rescue, and safety monitoring. We work closely with emergency services (Police, Fire, Coast Guard), Customs, and the operators of ports, power generation facilities and other vital infrastructure to determine their requirements and fulfill their needs.

To date, we have supplied more than 9,000 printers over 25 years to satisfied customers across a range of industries and have the leading market share among imported inkjet printers in Japan.
Inkjet printers for non-contact, high speed printing of best-before dates, batch/lot numbers, and other information necessary to ensure quality and traceability are essential on factory production lines for the manufacture of a wide range of products such as foods, beverages, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, electronics, automobile parts, and many others.
